- We screen counterparties and may decline, suspend or cancel a transaction that presents a sanctions risk.
2. Export controls and dual-use goods
Some machinery, electronics and components are subject to export-control or licensing requirements.
- We ask for end-user and end-use information where relevant, and obtain licences where required.
- We do not supply goods that we know will be diverted or re-exported in breach of applicable law.
3. Anti-bribery and anti-corruption
We have zero tolerance for bribery and corruption, in the public and private sectors.
- We do not offer, give, request or accept bribes, kickbacks or facilitation payments.
- Gifts and hospitality must be modest, transparent and never intended to influence a decision.
- We act in line with the Vietnamese Law on Anti-Corruption and Penal Code and, where applicable to a transaction, the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act.
4. Anti-money laundering and payments
- We identify the parties we trade with and may request company, ownership and authority documents.
- We accept payment only through regulated banking channels, from the contracting party and in the agreed currency. We do not accept cash or payments from unrelated third parties.
